The basic idea of this piece of software was to build a giant trackpad that would cover the exact width of a screen, to create a physical correlation between the user interaction and the position on the screen, without using a touch screen.
The funny early prototype has been built with a simple makey makey, creating "active zones". It worked pretty well for moving things on screen, with a little bit of easing algorythm.
The final installation has been made out of 5 bluetooth trackpad and and custom software made with Openframeworks. It was really efficient and even allow to scroll with the double finger gesture.
